This Privacy Policy describes how Recoplay (the "App") handles user information. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

About This App

This App is a simple tool for recording and playing back audio. It allows you to instantly play back your recordings for pronunciation practice and voice checking.

Information We Collect

Audio Data

The App collects audio data when you use the recording feature.

When collected: When you press the record button to start recording
Purpose: To play back and save your recordings
Storage location: Only on your device

Purchase Information (if you use Premium features)

The App uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to process in-app purchases for Premium features. When you make a purchase or restore purchases, the following information is sent to and stored by RevenueCat:

Information sent: An anonymous user identifier (randomly generated ID), purchase receipts, purchased product information, and your device OS / app version
Purpose: Validating purchases, unlocking Premium features, and restoring purchases
Information NOT sent: Personal information such as your name or email address, and your audio recordings

Payment itself is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Neither the App nor RevenueCat receives your credit card details.

Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does NOT collect the following information:

Personal identifying information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)
Location data
Usage history or access logs
Any other user data beyond what is described in "Purchase Information" above

How We Use Your Data

The collected audio data is used only for the following purposes:

Playing back recorded audio
Saving to your device at your request
Sharing to other apps at your request

Data Storage

Storage Location

All audio data is stored only on your device.

Temporary files: Unsaved data immediately after recording
Saved files: Data that you have chosen to save

Server Transmission

The App does NOT transmit your audio data to external servers. All recording, playback, and saving is completed on your device. The only data transmitted externally is the purchase information sent to RevenueCat when you use Premium features (see "Purchase Information" above).

Third-Party Sharing

Except for the transmission to RevenueCat described in "Purchase Information" above, the App does NOT share your data with third parties.

However, if you use the share feature to send audio files to other apps, the privacy policy of the receiving app will apply.

Data Deletion

Deletion Within the App

Saved recordings: Can be individually deleted from the list screen
Unsaved recordings: Automatically overwritten when you start a new recording

App Uninstallation

When you uninstall the App, all recording data (both saved and unsaved) will be completely deleted from your device.

Deleting Purchase Information

If you would like the purchase information stored by RevenueCat to be deleted, please contact us at the address below.

Analytics and Advertising

The App does NOT use the following services:

Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
Advertising services
Crash reporting services

Children's Privacy

The App does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13. All audio data is stored only on your device and remains under your complete control.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as needed. If there are significant changes, we will notify you when the App is updated.
